This course presents in-depth training for First Responders, and includes the standard first aid curriculum, the CPR for the Professional Rescuer curriculum, and additionally covers Oxygen Therapy, Childbirth, Triage and Multiple Trauma, Airway Management, Moving Patients, Assisting Patients in using medications, Transportation of Patients, and Assisting Medical Professionals. This program of instruction is intended to fill the gap between the standard first aid certification and EMT-Basic certification.
