Personal Protection Officer License
(15 Hour Course)

Course Info:

• This is the required personal protection officer class that provides the bodyguard training necessary to work legally as a licensed personal protection officer in Texas.
• Upon completion of the Level III course and submission of application, the State of Texas will issue the armed security officer license within four weeks.
• Students that obtain their Level IV License must complete a 6 hour renewal course within a two year period, from the date of licensing, to maintain their license in good standing with the State.

State Requirements:

• The State of Texas mandates that applicants for security licenses must be at least 18 years of age, have no disqualifying criminal history, and be legally allowed to work in the United States.
• A Licensing Fee must be paid directly to the state of Texas. This fee is not included in the course price.
• Students must complete the Level I, Level II and Level III courses in order to receive the Level IV personal protection officer license.
